Brief about the University Placement and Counseling Cell (UPACC)

University Placement and Counseling Cell (UPACC), was established in 2010 with the objective to facilitate placement opportunities and counseling services to the University students. Since its inception, UPACC has organized several special training programs for the students to develop their personality and hone communication skills through tie ups with many agencies. The cell also organizes counseling camps for the students to address their psychological, educational and career related issues in order to increase efficiency and output.

The University Placement and Counseling Cell centrally handle all training and placement activities across all the discipline of university of graduating students of all our campuses. The Cell provides complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process. Arrangements for Pre-Placement Talks, Written/On-line Tests, Group Discussions, and Interviews are made as per the requirement of the visiting companies.

The University has a large pool of talent for internship, training, recuritment among wide range of courses offfered at UG and PG levels. At present, we have 30 university teaching departments and constituent institution at UG and PG levels with multiple course and diverse specalizations. The Placement and Counseling Cell provides unique career opportunities to the students and caters to the demands of the students across all the departments of university like Engineering, Sciences, Management and Commerce, Hospitality, Social Work to name  only a few. The Training and Placement Officers also helps the students to explore and evaluate their interests and take career decisions, thus, providing directions to the students and helps them in achieving their professional goals. The University Placement and Counseling Cell along with Training and Placement Officers of individual departments, institutes, centers are working towards wholesome development of students essential for their career growth through training and placements activities, viz. summer internships, professional training to develop skills and proficiencies required to succeed in the job market.

The UPACC also provides an interface between employer and students and has recently organized Industry Academia Conclave with the focus to improve employability skills of the students. The conclave witnessed distinguished speakers and experts from industry and academia across various disciplines and sectors to share their expertise and experiences to the students so as to build a firm foundation and bigger and better talent pool. The cell also imparts training on Information Technology skills through involving training and placement officers from all the departments and the also the student representatives.
