The department offers a diverse range of programmes—B.Ed., M.Ed., M.A. (Education), Ph.D. in Education, and the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)—all aligned with national policies and designed to prepare competent, reflective, and socially responsive educators. A distinctive feature of the department is its paid internship model, strong school–university partnerships, and consistent record of student success, with graduates securing placements in government and reputed private schools, as well as qualifying competitive examinations such as HTET, CTET, CET, UGC-NET, and JRF.
