About Us

Department of Commerce (under the Faculty of Commerce & Management) was established in the year 2009 with the vision of “Empowering Women”.

The department focuses on knowledge enhancement, developing leadership skills, character, innovative thinking abilities, faith-based values and ethics and providing mentorship opportunities. This will help in developing result oriented leaders, entrepreneurs, accountants and managers in consistence with the requirements of corporate world.

  • Well-equipped Smart classroom-The department have Digital Class Rooms which are equipped with LCD Projector, special interactive screen and arrangement for visual exhibition of hard copies. Teachers from several disciplines use these class rooms and students enjoy learning lessons in these special technology enabled arrangement.

  • Fully Air Conditioned Conference Hall for Group Discussion, Seminar, and Presentation etc.- The department has one conference hall equipped with laptop, LCD-projector, audio system where seminar and large meetings are organized

  • Computer lab-Department has fully equipped and functional computer Lab for the students. Students can avail of that facility when accompanied by a teacher.

  • Guidance and counselling centre for students- A separate guidance and counselling centre is set up for the students where they can avail the facility of counselling regarding UGC Net and other competitive exams.
  • Free Wifi facility-Wi-fi facility is available in the department for the students in library and reading room.
