Security Manual

Functions:

1. Access Control Vehicle

As per provision enshrined under Para no. 13 of “Security Manual, 2021” (already uploaded in the university website), the speed limit board up to 30Km/Hr for 02 wheelers and 20Km/Hr for 03 wheelers in campus area has been installed which is mandatory. For this, the security branch has installed speed limit hoarding boards, in the university campus, for both university employees and visitors. Apart from this the security guard on duty also maintain a proper record of the vehicles in the registers at the main entry /exit gate of this university.

2.) Security Operations Centre (CCTV)

Security Control Room is the nerve centers of entire system. CCTV cameras have been installed all around the university campus to have an effective surveillance of the campus round the clock.

3.) CCTV should be continuously examined on a need basis.

4.) All camera recordings to be monitored by the Camera Observers in CCTV Room and immediately report any untoward incidence noticed.

5.) Video Footage of such incidence is saved continually. CCTV Room is manned 24*7**365 days.

6.) Shift-In-charge looks after the entire operations in his shift.

7.) Daily Reports need to be updated & sent to the concerned without failure

8.) Daily Deployment of security guards on ground & a patrolling status on real time monitoring is done.

9.) The concern on any emergency or an unusal event on campus is informed.

10.) Lost & found /Pass section / Recordings & other coordination.

11.) Follow Periodic maintenance schedule of assets.
