About Us

The Department of Management Studies (DMS) was established in the year 2008 as the first State Government Management Institute exclusively for women in North India with the mission to train future women executives and leaders. The main objective of the department is to equip the students with requisite knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of the new world order. The department aims to train professional managers for the corporate sector, who shall facilitate national growth and better society. The students are provided ample opportunities for getting trained in various aspects of management through industrial visits, case studies, guest lecturers from eminent persons from industry and academia.

The main aim of the department is to offer quality, affordable & professional education with a view to build graduates & postgraduates with high ethical & leadership qualities. The department offers BBA, MBA and Ph.D. programmes. We are fully committed for excellence in management education. In a competitive environment in general graduates are expected to be competitive with wide range of knowledge, skill & attributes. Therefore, department intends to enlighten students to be in right endeavor by developing their distinct competencies with human values & professionalism which led them to be successful, globally employable & entrepreneurial graduates in the dynamic environment. The Department is equipped with decent infrastructure and digital technology facilitating effective teaching learning ambience. In our endeavour, we draw upon reserves of goodwill among our alumni, reputation among recruiters and potential students, and commitment of our faculty and staff to the department.
