About Us

Kanya Gurukul Senior Secondary School


Kanya Gurukul Senior Secondary School was established by Amar Shaheed Bhagat Phool Singh Ji in 1936 to educate rural girls according to Vedic tradition. The main objective of this school was to impart education to girls along with their all round development, upliftment and empowerment of women. After his assassination his legacy and philosophy was continued by his daughter Padam Shri Subhashini Devi Ji. Today what you see is the outcome of the combined efforts of the selfless service of these two great visionaries. The institution prospered to become a Senior Secondary School of fame in the region. The Gurukul which was started with just three girls has now been developed into first Women University of North India.

The motto of the University is “Empowering Women with Education”. All efforts by Kanya Gurukul Senior Secondary School are directed towards the achievement of this objective. We aim to provide right opportunity and environment for a harmonious all round development of personality of the girl students by giving thorough general education and also conserving the cultural heritage of our country.

The school in its pursuit for excellence has maintained high standards in terms of teaching faculty, infrastructure and other related determinates of quality. All teaching faculty is well qualified and dedicated towards their duties. All educational programs strictly adhere to the norms and standards by Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani. We endeavor to be an institution committed towards innovation, knowledge sharing and openness to develop dedicated and sincere students who shall have passion for knowledge, team work and attitude.

  1. On admission of two or more real sisters, 50% concession will be given to the younger sister.

  2. Transport Facility available from surrounding villages at nominal fee.
