Hospital

A well-equipped multi-specialty Ayurvedic Hospital is equipped in the institute premises. It covers a total area of 22,316 sq. ft. for hospital and 31,200 sq. ft. for new hospital. It offers Kaya-chikitsa, Shalya Tantra, Stree Roga evam Prasuti Tantra, Bal Roga, Swasthvrita, Panchkarma, Agadtantra, Roga Nidan, Swasthya Raskshan and Screening OPD & IPD having capacity of 110 Bed. It provides treatment facilities for the chronic diseases mainly using different modes of Ayurvedic Treatment. Along with, Institute has an Ayurvedic Pharmacy where various formulations are prepared on classical basis & these herbo-mineral medicines are distributed to the patients free of cost. Apart from these, hospital also has an emergency unit, Operation Theatre, Labour room, Radiology, Panchkarma and Physiotherapy unit.

College

Availability of 5 modular class room having Audio-visual projector facility. Total of 10 Lecture Theater for BAMS and Diploma Classes.  Different subjects dedicated well equipped laboratories including cadaver dissection hall and modernized pathology laboratory are providing hands on classes for the students. An enriched library with more than 10,000 Ayurveda classical books and modern books, is available with student’s friendly flexible time schedule. A self-regulated well-equipped pharmacy unit to prepare various traditional and self-formulated medicines for the hospital requirements. The pharmacy manufacturing is supported by sprawling herbarium garden where more than 210 species of herbs are grown. MSM institute of Ayurveda allows extracurricular development of students in sports, cultural and other personality development activities.

Sports

In M.S.M Institute of Ayurveda importance is also given to the physical development of students through various sports activities. Such as volleyball, Badminton, Kabaddi and other athletic activities. Students are sent to participate in National and Inter-University tournaments every year.

Cultural Activity

In M.S.M Institute of Ayurveda importance is also given to the Extra Curricular Development of students through various Cultural activities. Such as Dance, Debate and Rangoli competitions,  Drama and other Celebrations of Festivals. Students are sent to participate in Rashtriya Ayurved Yuva Mahotsav. Fresher and farewell functions are organized by the Cultural Committee of the Institute.

DRUG TESTING

Drug testing laboratory is also available in MSM Institute for correct standardization of drugs.  Major tests like TLC, Specific gravity, pH detection, tablet friability etc. are conducted. These are helpful in promoting researches in the field of herbo-mineral drugs. This lab is just like a diamomd for BAMS students where they learn how to identify a genuine drug and adulterated one or substitute one.  It helps inculcating culture of quality production of Ayush products assured with safety & efficacy.

HERBAL GARDEN

Herbal Garden – A well maintained herbal garden spreaded in 52’609 Sq. meter area is present in college. It contains more than 300 medicinal plants species. These medicinal plants are used in various panchkarmatherapies  & in manufacturing of various herbal &herbo-mineral medicines. It also contains endangered species like Guggulu etc.  one of the peculiarity of this herbal garden is every medicinal plant is attached with its name plate bearing its hindi name, latin name & its uses in Ayurveda.
