Dhara Eco-Club aims to build an environmentally responsible campus by promoting sensitization, awareness, and action on key issues such as waste management, sustainability, climate change, and biodiversity conservation. The Club works to: Develop eco-awareness and climate sensitivity among students, staff, and community members.Promote systematic waste management, source segregation, composting, and adoption of the 4Rs (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).Encourage a sustainable and low-carbon lifestyle through water conservation, renewable energy use, and green practices.Build green skills such as composting, organic farming, nursery management, biodiversity mapping, and environmental stewardship.Organize plantation drives, clean-campus initiatives, field visits, and outreach programmes with nearby communities and schools.Strengthen understanding of biodiversity, ecosystems, and climate resilience through experiential learning.Foster creativity and participation through eco-competitions, campaigns, workshops, and awareness drives.Work towards reducing the ecological footprint of the university and developing a model green campus.
