About Us

Learning Resource Centre (LRC): The Learning Resource Centre has six state-of-the-art Language Laboratories, equipped with latest technological software, which helps in effective learning of communication skills. LRC imparts training & guidance for appearing in International English Proficiency examination Business English Certificate (BEC) and had the privilege of hosting American ELT interns. LRC signed MOUs with the British Council, Delhi and Regional English Language Office, Delhi to:

  • Internship programmes in ELT
  • Teacher Training & Support Programmes
  • Cultural Exchange Programmes

 

Staff Training and Research Institute for Teaching of English (STRITE):  STRITE has been established as an  autonomous Institute of BPSMV in LRC for imparting training in effective teaching of English & operation of language laboratory to school & college teachers. So far STRITE has conducted 10 Teacher Training Programmes benefitting approximately 1000 teachers sponsored by the State Government.

  • LRC is an autonomous central facility of the University and houses:
  • Language Laboratory
  • Staff Training and Research Institute for Teaching of English (STRITE)
  • Theatre
  • Conference Hall
  • Smart Classroom
  • Library
  • There are 06 (03 video + 03 audio) language laboratories with 180 student booths.
  • The labs are based on ONIC software.
  • The labs are learner friendly equipped with recording facility.
  • Teaching material (video + audio) is obtained from University of Cambridge Press, Delhi.
  • LRC organizes English film shows and documentaries on National icons on Saturdays.
  • It also screens video debates and discussions.
